Game Description

Wheelman is a PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Microsoft Windows action-adventure video game developed by Tigon Studios and Midway Studios – Newcastle and published by Ubisoft in collaboration with Midway Games. Vin Diesel stars in the game, which was launched in March 2009.

The game takes place in an open-world environment based in Barcelona, complete with destructible items, alleyways, and shortcuts through office complexes, as well as 31 core objectives and 105 side tasks. While the majority of missions are driven, there are some foot missions that are played in the third person. The player has access to a wide range of weaponry, including handguns, assault rifles, and RPGs. The game includes a novel feature dubbed “Airjack,” in which players can hijack an enemy or civilian vehicle by locking on and jumping out of the one they are operating.

The Pontiac G8, shown in Wheelman trailers, is one of the automobiles used by Milo Burik in the game. According to reports, the Opel Astra is also a driveable vehicle. In the demo, the license plate reads MRTL KM8T, a nod to Midway’s blockbuster fighting game Mortal Kombat.
