Cricket 2000 Gameplay
The user can choose from four different game styles in Cricket 2000: quick game, friendly, world cup tournament, and super 6 tournaments. The two teams and the location of a match are chosen at random in a quick game; in a friendly match, the player can choose any of the 12 nations represented in the game; and in the world cup and super 6 tournaments, up to 12 human players control each country within two groups of six. The players on the field are controlled by the AI computer, but the player can direct where the ball is thrown. Former players Richie Benaud and David Gower provide commentary.
