Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition Remix
Game Description
Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition is a racing video game published by Rockstar Games and developed by Rockstar San Diego. It’s the third book in the Midnight Club series. The game, like previous entries in the series, is an arcade-style racer that focuses on wild, high-speed racing rather than realistic physics and driving. The name comes from a collaboration between Rockstar and DUB Magazine, which is heavily featured in the game in the form of DUB-sponsored races and DUB-customized vehicles as prizes.
Players race through open-world recreations of San Diego, Atlanta, and Detroit while listening to 98 (124 in the Remix version) licensed music tracks ranging from hip hop to rock to other genres. After the player collides with certain objects or travels along certain stretches of road, the game displays a variety of graphical views. There is also the option to personalize a player’s vehicle. Aside from changing the exterior appearance, the vehicle’s performance can also be improved (with the exception of all “A” Class vehicles except motorcycles). Midnight Club 3: Dub Edition is the series’ first game to feature licensed vehicles.

Manhunt 2
Game Description
Rockstar Games’ Manhunt 2 is a psychological horror stealth video game. Rockstar London created it for Microsoft Windows and the PlayStation 2, Rockstar Leeds created it for the PlayStation Portable, and Rockstar Toronto created it for the Wii. It is the follow-up to 2003’s Manhunt and was released in North America on October 29, 2007, and in the United Kingdom on October 31, 2008. Set in the fictional city of Cottonmouth, Manhunt 2 follows Daniel Lamb, a mentally ill patient suffering from amnesia, as he attempts to reclaim his identity, and Leo Kasper, a sociopathic assassin who assists Daniel on his journey.
Rockstar’s parent company Take-Two Interactive postponed Manhunt season 2 North American and European releases in July 2007 after it was refused classification in the United Kingdom and Ireland and given an Adults Only (AO) rating in the United States. Because Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony Computer Entertainment do not allow licensed releases of AO titles on their consoles, their potential customer base in the US would have been severely limited as well. Rockstar censored Manhunt season 2 in response to the rating issues, blurring the screen during Manhunt 2 executions and removing the scoring system, which rewarded players for particularly brutal killings. The ESRB rated this edited version M in the United States, and it was released on October 29. However, the BBFC refused to classify the edited version for release in the United Kingdom. Rockstar appealed their decision, and the Video Appeals Committee ultimately voted that Manhunt season 2 could be released with an 18 rating.
The improved gameplay, game engine, plot twists, darker storyline, and use of extreme violence were praised by critics and audiences, but its voice acting and outdated graphics drew mixed reactions. Before and after its release, the title sparked debate, attracting the attention of Leicester East MP Keith Vaz, anti-video game activist Jack Thompson, and several US senators. It was ranked first on Gameranx’s list of the “Top 25 Scariest Games of All Time,” and it was nominated for GameSpy’s 2007 Game of the Year Award for the PlayStation 2.
